Sierra Investment Partners, Inc. has instituted an in-depth screening process which will favor: 

  • Corporate policies which protect human rights (i.e., workers safety, civil, political, social and economic.)
  • Established health and safety standards for protecting the workers and surrounding communities.
  • Concern for improving local infrastructure (i.e., ample housing, clean water supply and adequate sewage treatment systems.)
  • A track record of favorable employment and ethical standards, such as decent wages and benefits, reasonable working hours, proactive health and safety programs, avoidance of sexual, racial, and religious discrimination and disciplinary practices in accordance with international standards.

The Sierra screening process will avoid all companies or countries which: 

  • "Dump" products to undermine American Companies.
  • Impose unfair barriers against American Company goods.
  • Use child or prison labor.
  • Prevent labor organizing or pursuing collective bargaining activities.
  • Displace American products or workers.
