Bruce Dereschuk
President & CEO, Principal
Investment Experience: 1987 to Present

Bruce founded Sierra Investment Partners, Inc. in February 1996 to serve the Taft-Hartley marketplace. His introduction into the investment industry and the jointly managed trusts came in 1987 when he joined ULLICO Inc. to market investment products.  In April 1990, Bruce, along with two other key individuals, directed the startup of Trust Fund Advisors and, as the Vice President for the western U. S., ensured its success.  As the President and CEO of  Sierra Investment Partners, Inc., Bruce manages the sub-advisor relationships, all aspects of Sierra Investment Partners, Inc.’s growth, and most important, ensures client satisfaction.  Bruce is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Marketing and Management.

Maria E. Dereschuk
Executive Vice President, Principal
Investment Experience: 1996 to Present

Prior to co-founding Sierra Investment Partners, Inc., Maria worked for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in various systems engineering and management positions.  During her seven years at EDS, Maria earned a reputation for excellence in systems development and client servicing.  As Executive Vice President for Sierra Investment Partners, Inc., Maria is responsible for all business operations including development and implementation of our strategic business plans, financial planning, and management of all support staff.  Maria graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering and a minor in Mathematics.

John Delissio, Jr.
Senior Vice President, Sales, Principal
Investment Experience: 1983 to Present

Prior to co-founding Sierra Investment Partners, Inc., John served as a Vice President for Trust Fund Advisors with key responsibilities for marketing and client service in the Northeast.  In his role with Sierra Investment Partners, Inc., John coordinates business growth and client service in the eastern U.S.  John’s previous experience of 13 years has given him great exposure and a thorough understanding of the Taft-Hartley marketplace.  John holds a B.S. in Business Administration from George Mason University.

Jim McGuire
Vice President, Sales, Principal
Investment Experience: 1992 to Present

Jim serves as a Vice President responsible for business development and client servicing for Sierra Investment Partners, Inc. in the Western U.S.  Prior to Sierra Investment Partners, Inc.’s startup, Jim served as a Client Servicing Executive for Trust Fund Advisors from January 1992 to February 1996.  His main responsibilities included presenting investment results and economic forecasts to boards of trustees and their professional staff, as well as servicing clients.  Jim is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Jim Anisi
Vice President, Sales
Investment Experience: 1996 to Present
Jim is a Vice President of Sales responsible for marketing and servicing the Midwest Region.  He joined Sierra Investment Partners, Inc. in April of 2001.  Jim worked at Northern Trust prior to coming to Sierra where he was part of a client servicing team dedicated to Taft-Hartley funds, focusing on the development of long-term, rewarding partnerships and client satisfaction.   Jim also served as Assistant Administrator of a $1 billion Taft-Hartley Pension and Health & Welfare fund.  Jim received a B.S. in Mathematics/Statistics from Purdue University in Indiana. 

George Efthymiou
Vice President, Operations
Investment Experience: 2003 to Present

As the Vice President of Operations, George provides direction and guidance to the operational activities of Sierra Investment Partners, Inc. with the objective of maximizing growth and providing leadership to all company operations functions. He manages operations by coordinating activities consistent with the established company goals, objectives, and policies. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations, client reporting, client requests, RFP’s, RfI’s, and maintains company and product information in consultant databases. George graduated with a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration and an M.B.A. from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Pete Mastandrea
Assistant Vice President, Sales
Investment Experience: 2002 to Present

Pete is an Assistant Vice President of Sales responsible for marketing and servicing the Midwest Region. He joined Sierra Investment Partners, Inc. in May of 2010. Prior to joining Sierra Pete worked for The Marco Consulting Group, a Taft-Hartley investment consulting firm where he was involved with investment research and consulting. Pete also worked in the Private Equity department at the Northern Trust Company in Chicago and Wachovia Securities in Dayton, Ohio, where he received his Series 7 license. Pete received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Dayton in Ohio.
